hmm.. yes. caste has been raked up in KA like never before. but every party is doing it.

Just to split the votes, congress even categorized lingayats as a religion...I mean every party did such things but what’s happening in KA is all time high...

friends in Bangalore say corruption has reached to such a peak now but then again, people doesn’t seem to caring about such things anymore...caste is at the forefront now

lol. but lingayats are a religion. so are Pillais etc.

lingayats especially have their own hierarchichal structures, and reject Hinduism.

if the politics of joining all different religions under hindutva to create a hindu voteblock is okay.. giving these groups their identity back (that they have demanded) should also be okay, no?
