AP govt has signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with japan company THK at Amaravati in the presence of CM Chandrababu Naidu. As per the MoU, THK will be investing Rs 1300 crore, with Rs 330 crore in the first phase in Sri City of Andhra Pradesh by August 2018. The manufacturing facility, spread across 50 acres, will start construction of Automative semi-conductors and machine spare parts by August 2018, the sources said. THK CEO Teramachi and AP Economic Development Board CEO Jasthi Krishna Kishore have signed the MoU.
