vijrmc Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 Benadryl won't come in 4s. Usual dose starts with 25 mg and if they gave you 100 mg also, that's nothing. Benadryl can cause thirstiness due to its mechanism of action. And all the symptoms you mentioned could be due to the anaphylactic reaction and later subsided due to medication. They followed the typical ER protocol. Nothing to worry. Inthaki neeku em symptoms unnayani ER ki vellavu and why did you suspect anaphylactic reaction? And one suggestion: when you go to ER in future, tell them your symptoms but don't tell them that you have anaphylactic reaction. Because you talk to the nurse or PA and they will document in their note whatever you say and everyone will take that for granted ... finally end up with wrong diagnosis... this happens a lot of times in the ER because they are very busy... Lukewalker Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 ER pedha bokka man, they have standard procedures. pain ki morphine, emayina theda anipiste blanket medication laga corticosteroids ichi dobbutharu. all they do is temp relief and refer to specialists. I seriously doubt if they just put residents in ER. i hope all is good with you now brother! Quote
