First, Obama term coincided with the worst recession that hit the US in close to a century. The biggest victims were black people. Most of them simply didn't recover, and the crime increased. black people are jailed for crimes that white kids are pardoned, and nuvvey chepthunnav that jail record makes them unemployable ani. so what should they do, accordin to you? kill themselves aaa?

Obama did the best he can. But a president does not have all the power. Forget conservatives, even liberals in the US are racist and pro corporate. It may work great for you, as an IT/pharma professional, but for regular people, more corporatism means loss of jobs. American presidents are all certified assholes, including Obama. Expecting them to improve status of a community is totally delusional.

Again black people are more affected due to this, because of lack of business networks to land them professional jobs. Also because of lack of proper education ---> which is because of lack of investment in public education in their city.. etc.. Everything is connected.

Not to say that black people's problems are all because of white people, but a significant portion of their problems are because of the economic structure that is controlled by the majority white. Even some poor white people are affected by it, but they normally pass under the radar during discussions on this.

Nixon, Reagan, etc were among the worst presidents ever. Especially Reagan is responsible for starting US down the path of current capitalist hell that has defined America.

BLM is an awesome organization that fights for the rights of black people. So they made a few missteps, and engage in a few unfruitful campaigns, so what? They give hope to many blacks that someone is fighting for them. Without such hope, individuals can get even more unpredictable and violent.

This is something I dont agree with at all. I am not sympathetic to the policeman who was shot or hurt by people, because police do that all the time to other people. Taking away people's guns will enable them to do it even more.

so yeah, I'm against gun control. But if gun control has to exist, even police have to be stripped off their guns. Obviously US economy depends on nasty industries like this, and the military. most things work efficiently in a centralized system, but which is prone to encourage hierarchies and not quite flexible.

decentralization forces a system to give up efficiency for robustness (a somewhat utopian claim for systems where people are expected to cooperate). 

I'm focusing on decentralization of everything. This is why I'm left. Not because I love Stalin or che guevara some other dictator fcuk.

frankly, apart from claims of relative efficiency (which I completely agree with), and speed of commercial innovation (somewhat agree with), I think centralization (especially the right wing kind which people are so in love with now) is for mediocre people who are insecure about their place in the society.
