you are not wrong.

when you drive on snow,,, it can easily flip over because of high center of gravity

I drove one of this family cars once or twice. Very uncomfortable and felt less safe. I guess low centre of gravity is safer. I see all these American families buying SUVs and seeing them Indian families are buying too. Most of the American families buy those type of vehicles because they have too many kids. Kaani Indian families have 2 kids mostly. Inka 2 kids antha pedda car avasarama? I think they want to keep the baby strollers etc, but wouldn’t a large enough sedan not hold baby strollers?

Usually ppl buy them because of their safety features. Space is seond thing. Its not just about strollers, if two kids the back seats will take most of space and parents cant sit comfortably on back. Some ppl will rotate their parents every 6 months to take of their children, so they require suv for going out as a group with all members.

a group of people posing for the camera© Provided by CBS San Francisco LEGGETT, Calif. — Recovered vehicle debris and personal items confirm that an SUV seen plunging into a storm-swollen Northern California river belonged to a family that disappeared last week, authorities said Thursday.

The vehicle itself and the four members of the Thottapilly family have not been recovered from the Eel River, which remains too dangerous for divers to enter, but searchers along the banks located numerous items consistent with a Honda vehicle body and interior, and items consistent with a family traveling on vacation, the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

very sad, be careful guys when going to new places, u neva know what turn/curve is gonna take where... if they are dead, RIP.

no except son all found ..

Authorities searching for a family whose SUV plunged into a rain-swollen Northern California river have found the vehicle and the body of a man and a girl inside it.

The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office said Monday that searchers located the car Sunday and recovered the bodies of 41-year-old Sandeep Thottapilly and 9-year-old Saachi Thottapilly.

The office also said the body of an adult female found in the Eel River on Friday has been identified as 38-year-old Soumya Thottapilly. The couple's 12-year-old son, Sidhhanty Thottapilly remains missing.

The four members of the Thottapilly family went missing while traveling from Portland, Oregon, to their home in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Clarita.

They were reported missing April 8 after failing to show up for a visit with relatives in San Jose.
