Okay. the best city in AP now is

The geographical location of Vizag is best suited for a port and a peffect location to operate the best and advanced sea port on the east coast. 

But what do you export or import out of Vizag depends on the hinterland or the region this port serves ? For south of AP, there are few other ports, mainly Chennai and Tutucorin. For the north coromandel, there is Paradip Port is main hub. For all the mining exports in Bihar,Buxar,Jharkhand,Dhanbad etc criss crosses from Paradip deep sea port. Kolkata port is losing importance, thanks to silting in the Bay by Ganges river and Paradip port is replacing Hooghly port. 

This is the main issue for Vizag. The hinterland it serves is economically backward and limited manufacturing when in comparison with other ports. 

Location may be excellent for sea port but just by modernizing a sea port, it will not gain prominence. 

I’m not joining the bandwagon of uneducated laborers. I’m explaining about the hinterland that Vizag presently serves and its disadvantage. 

Vizag being a perfect spot for a sea port....but that doesn’t  complete the loop my friend. It needs to become regional hub for everything, starting from education to services for this hinterland. Or else, it will become part of Naidu’s neverland.

the difference btween haves and have nots is too stark in Vizag.

lol. Vizag lost because the state govt put all eggs in Hyd basket. everything else is bullshit.

Its how state govts function all over India. corner both political and financial power in capitals. nothing more.

Vizag will still do well, if Vijayawads does well. both these cities destinies are now interlinked.

The geographical location of Vizag is the best on the east coast of India...thats the reason why its the major hub and Gateway for all commercial connections to southeast asia and japan and the seat of Eastern Naval command..

Its strategically located at the center of the east coast of the country just like Mumbai on the west coast...which makes mumbai the Head of the western Naval command! This is the reason why for a population of 3 million its GDP is higher than many of the bigger cities in India and it stands in the 8th place in INdia...

Its due to its location that it has the country's best seaport, naval dockyard,  and all the so called Navrathnas of the Public sector undertakings....AP lo madhya lo ledu moola undi ani sollu pracharam yellow media and its pulka followers di just to say what they did by making Kammaravati capital...
