In fact the BJP rep made good points on how ridiculous the idea that the south is subsidizing the north is, in a Tamil channel.

and instead of addressing that, they shot him down with disdain. Even though the only other politician in the panel talked about how center comes up with lousy schemes (as far as TN goes) and demands state adopt them to get benefits, none of them went into the machinations of such state-center interactions. and why it is hard to solve this issue.
