I would be thankful for your help.**** Insurance go with car not driver..if you friend has insurance on his car it will cover up for you..you may get ticket for no license plate and no DL..if no active insurance on car then no option you have to pay.. you are very lucky for just asking $5k..instead of some huge amounts..Other party can also sue you..just pay and let it go..if you are in no position to raise $5k in this critical situation then you are not supposed to be in USA..if you cant handle 5k now how can you handle long waits for jobs ,expenses, loans in coming days.. oka vela nuvvu 5k oppsite part ki eggodadham ani try chesthunta thats not good thing, that guy already helped you a lot by not calling cops, you may also be in Jail by now by driving car without any documents..or end with court date and huge fines on top of fixing the car..
