if the interviewer is american/whites then communication will play a big role when you apply for FT roles along with technical skillset. always focus on the basics first and maintain eye contact in F to F interviews. if its a telephone, speak clearly and try to stick to the question giving relevant examples from your field of study or prior experiences..
