Can specific human actions be objectively ..

classified as assholery? ofcourse taking into consideration the state of the mind of the human who performs that action/talk, his environment.

Because its absolutely important to understand what can be classified as assholery. All humans are assholes. that is a given. But the asshole component varies, and their specific actions must be judged in isolation.

One particular asshole in this db is very sensitive about using profanities on old people (may be not when he uses them), even when their actions deserve it. But I've always wondered if he gave that free pass to every old person.

Solving this problem will create better ways of adjucating issues amongst humans, passing sentences of punishment relating to the quantum of crime.

it'll basically make us humans more easily relatable to robots.

Without this, I'm afraid robots will make the simple conclusion that 'Humans.. bad" and kill us all. Which I'm technically excited about - The destruction of human race is something that I look forward to.

But if there is a way to coexist with robots, then this is the way.

No, the current standards for what is considered as 'assholery' is not enough. in fact, they are pathetic, and can be easily tampered with by motivated individuals or groups.

For eg. how Trump/Modi supporters shamelessly argue for the genius of their leader's ability to manipulate the people.  It doesn't matter to them that, that ability is being used to create more divisions (especially of wealth) in the society. They are assholes. But we hear that they be given a fair hearing.

Social shaming is an important tool for society's to find a common ground on acceptable behaviour in a group. But what happens if the group itself is toxic? and the one person who stands against the group is not the asshole, but the brave one. The group isn't punished. In fact, groups are hardly punished, especially privileged ones like White, Uppercaste Hindu.

so the point is, assholery needs a new way of classification if humanity has to survive. :)
