Yeah, a proud Telangana Nativist...nothing to suit or unsuite me...everyone have their own definition of nativist and so I’m...I have my own... All nationalist movements are state capitalist. means they care about designing economy that benefits their nations people. Indian 'nationalists' (especially upper middle/upper class like you) are corporate shills. You can argue that it is the best way to achieve welfare of people, but it is a dishonest argument. you just want good things for yourself, and want to have a govt that maintains that status quo. ergo. narcissist. Fun fact: majority of nationalists around the world (in fact all of them, except the US) are what you call socialists (wrong term for state capitalists). Each and everyone can have whatever definitions they want to. but from first principles of public welfare, Nativism is similar to Nationalism. And in India's case, nativism is even more pronounced in some regions because people feel a sense of belonging with each other. So are you a TG nativist in that way? Will you fight against the center for your state? - No, you don't get to claim that TG interests are perfectly in alignment with India's. It just doesn't happen in a federal structure. so no, you are not a nativist. Quote

Like European nationalism. All countries that benefited in the late stage capitalism surge in the 80s - 00s, had authoritarian nationalist govts, and were also homogenous. when someone says Indian nationalist, I have to wonder what it means. It mostly means that you guys are okay to give up the growth of your region for the silly privilege of being stuck in a useless union of uncompetitive states, that can't make their own decisions (either economical, or monetary etc). uttermost Posted April 29, 2018 Author Report Posted April 29, 2018 Android Halwa, The theory is this. Indian elite and middle class are lazy assholes, who don't want to work hard and create value like a Korea or Taiwan. and are afraid of actual competition. so they sit in a useless union, with similar lazy elite class, and do bhajana called Indian nationalism. hehe.. recent days middle class also joined that bandwagon. uttermost Posted April 29, 2018 Author Report Posted April 29, 2018 How long did advanced govts across the world take to achieve complete literacy, health and nutrition targets? hehe.. India will take 10 times that long, inspite of being the largest software exporter in the world. or the second. I don't know. Quote
