Angular Js has lot of difference to angular

If you are starting new project then angular is k

But if you want to change angular Js to angular then it's big change

From mvc to components

Writing from scratch in angular 5 is better idea.

You have to understand the functionality in angular js app...with specs... implement the same in angular 5.
