Need inputs on how to approach home mortgage brokers. Looking for a resale house so need to find out the ones which have the best deal on home mortgage. Location - Atlanta.

Search on redfin bro, reviews untay brokers vi and also ask u agent he will be able to suggest a few good people. Andari reviews chudu online(dont just look at the star rating read them thoroughly, sometimes fake vi kuda untay. If they are real reviews mostly house gurinchi details untay). After this just make a list of people who you want to approach, talk to each of them tell them ur needs and ask them what is current market price and what is the best they can do. If you are putting down less than 20% be sure to ask them what is the best PMI rate that they have got in the recent times. Ne score ki antha vasthada kuda kanukko. Finally decide who you think is the best and get pre approval. Pre approval ki they wont need ur social ankunta, just the credit score is good enuf.

ok thanks. Have got a pre-approval. But now need to check real rates since the rates have changed in last 2 weeks.

shop around for mortgage... try banks BOA, chase etc.. also credit unions like DCU, Penfed... some times private lenders manchi rate istharu.. local lo evvaranna recent ga home close chesina vallani adugu...

That is true but there was very less inventory in winter baa.

Even for resale do realtors have cashback ? I cashback on mortgage loan or buying a house ?

There is a local home mortgage broker 'Summit Funding Advisor', you get better rates compared to any other in Atlanta region. Myself and four other friends had gone through them. Ask for Bart Parisson. no need any reference. Just cal him and get the rate.

I would suggest first try to get rates with other mortgage brokers and then call Bart. you would see the difference from others. Also, it is is useful as sometimes one or other provide better rate and you can ask other broker to match or lower the rate. or you can bargain to get some incentives like no origination fee something like that even if they do not lower from other quotes.

fyi.. i have got the lowest 3.075 from different brokers when i was shopping for..but Bart gave me 2.75 and no origination fee. (they are not offering origination fee exclude anymore).
