i applied for global entry on april 5th.. after police verification status has been same since almost month..

in PSK website

GEP Verification Process has been initiated on your application. Once inputs from all the concerned Government Authorities are received, the Report will be shared with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). No queries would be entertained in relation to your GEP application status at the Passport Offices and PSP Call Centre. You may contact CBP for further updates on the processing of your GEP application.

GC avasram ledu..  people with h1b also can apply .. this also comes with TSA pre for 5 yrs if approved..

I applied on July 5th for GEP. Attended PSK in Sep 2017, since then I'm waiting.

Apply while you are in India. 

 

Step 1) Register for GEP and pay $100

Step 2) You will get an automated email asking you to take an appoitnment at nearest Passport office in India

Step 3) Book appointment and attend for interview to get the background verification by passport office

Step 4) Wait until you get conditional approval from GEP 

Step 5) Schedule an interview appointment

Applied DEC 2017---still waiting. This is like mini version of GC . It will take 6 to 12 months. India lo 60 departments clearance ivvali anta... file may get lost also.
