తణుకు,న్యూస్‌టుడే:  పశ్చిమగోదావరి జిల్లా తేతలిలో  అయిదేళ్ల బాలికపై ఓ బాలుడు (15) అత్యాచారానికి పాల్పడ్డాడు. ఇతడికి మరో ముగ్గురు (9), (7), (7) బాలురు సహకరించారు. బాధితురాలికి తీవ్ర రక్తస్రావం కావడంతో గమనించిన చుట్టుపక్కల వారు ఆసుపత్రికి తీసుకెళ్లారు. తణుకు గ్రామీణ పోలీసులు ఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకుని కారకులైన ఆ నలుగురిని అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. శుక్రవారం మధ్యాహ్నం తన ఇంటి వీధిలో ఉన్న ఐదేళ్ల చిన్నారికి తినుబండారాలు కొనిచ్చాడు. ఆడుకుందామని చెప్పి ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాల శౌచాలయంలోకి తీసుకెళ్లారు. ఆ బాలుడు (15) అత్యాచారం చేయగా మిగిలిన ముగ్గురు కాపలాగా ఉన్నారు. తన అమ్మమ్మ ఊరైన తేతలిలో ఉంటూ ఆ బాలిక తణుకులోని ఓ ప్రైవేటు పాఠశాలలో విద్యనభ్యసిస్తోంది.

Teenage girl allegedly gang-raped, burned to death in India, police say

(CNN)Police in India are investigating the alleged kidnapping and gang rape of a girl who was then burned to death after her parents complained to the local village council seeking justice.

The incident is alleged to have taken place in a rural village in India's northeastern state of Jharkhand. Police said Saturday they are waiting for a medical board to conduct an autopsy of the girl's body.

After the parents reported the case to the police, 15 of the 20 accused men were arrested, said Jitendra Kumar Singh, deputy commissioner of the state's Chatra District. The head of the village council is also in custody, Singh said.

 

"We are waiting for the outcome of the medical reports and the police investigation report to arrive at a conclusion," Singh told CNN.

The 16-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped Thursday night while the family was attending a wedding, then taken to a nearby forest and raped by a group of men, according to Ashok Ram, the officer in charge of the Itkhori police station, which overseas the village.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday announced that he will act as a guardian of a nine-year-old rape victim and bear all expenses of her education.

 

After calling on the victim at a government-run hospital in Guntur town, he said he would provide his personal money for her education till she achieves her goal in the life.

Naidu said while the girl's parents would do their duty, he would ensure best education for her with all facilities.

"I have already asked the District Collector to identify the best school in Guntur," he said.

The state government has already announced Rs 5 lakh compensation
