It is confirmed mahanati savithri movie is based on this book and they where not given credits.. 

 

The author of this book went in to distant past of mahanati savithri and interviewed her child hood friends..

 

The author is a senior aeronatical engineer in USA who spent overwhelming amount of time in to collecting never known before  details of savithri.
