Chaala unnayi. 9 hours layover aa ? so you might squeeze about 4 to 5 hours max. This is what you can do. 

Boston is pretty much walking/closely paved city; so you can cover a lot; Best thing you can do is go to few tourist spots and take some pics.

 

Logan to Faneuil Hall - 15 mts - 4 Miles

Take the Uber to the Faneuil Hall (https://goo.gl/maps/taVBa1YTyeT2) - there are bunch of places around all to see around. There's a huge boston city hall building next to it and always events happening;  so you can take some pics there;  do a stroll around.

Some places

a) Bell in the hand - Oldest tavern in the US. 

b ) Fanuel hall building - Lots of eateries and people watching

c)New England Aquarium - You can walk there and look at the ships/water

after you are done exploring that Faneuil Hall area. You can hop on your next Uber to MIT - Memorial Drive (location in the maps link) (at most 10 mts from that fanueil hall area) - otherwise get back to Logan Terminal E for airport

 

MIT - Main Building/Memorial Drive  - Go there take some pics around MIT and view of Boston skyline across the river from Cambridge (https://goo.gl/maps/ZYWZetKZ8Ds)

after that hop back to Logan that's about 5 miles (20 mts) drive. Make sure to go to terminal E since International Departures are from Terminal E only.
