BJP clearly want to ruin chances for Congress and so they fielded weak candidates for constituencies where JDS is a little more powerful. BJP ensured that they don't let Congress come to power again. So, at the end, Congress got more votes but fewer seats

This time Congress acted swiftly,sonia as soon as trends started changing around 12 she came in to the scene and direct deve gowda contacted thru phone & toh touch loki vacharu and sealed the deal, Gulam nabi azad and Gehlot munde unnaru Bangalore lo... Past 2-3 instances in Goa and in NE states they took wait & watch and BJP took away inspite INC being single largest party then..

people are more excited for these game watching than the development.
