I suspect the former, because conservatives, race realists, etc. lie a lot to make their point.

and desperately try to change the structure to suit them. A structure that was discarded as unworkable.

every country. I can understand (not appreciate) the hate for those people consider as not part of theiri group (immigrants, muslims etc).

but the neo conservative comeback is in large parts fueled by hate for their own kind. The ones that live on doles among them.

you cannot want a gamified economy, a nation with borders, and not have losers in that game. What do right wingers propose be done to those losers in the game? advise them to start working harder? lol.

most these people are disgusted with the political system that has washed its hands off them. But their kids won't be so forgiving.

It'll be the cycle of French revolutions, Spanish revolutions all over again. May be not so soon, because we have gadgets to distract people from reality now. I don't know how long it can hold.  we have to learn lessons from history, not repeat them.

 I think the second one is partly true. As the generation changes,world progresses (Esp in socialistic terms). Whenever there is sudden leap on one side (Progressive or Conservative) , there will be a push back from the other side for a brief period. This goes on in a cycle. As far as US is concerned, this huge conservative come back is because of Obama's 9 years. He made huge strides in terms of implementing liberal agenda. Hence, the huge backlash. But, world in general,tends to progress in a liberal way.
