The 3rd Demographic cohort for H1B visa’s is Medicine - With Love From India. Due to a Current and 15-year Projected Shortage in the US, which I believe is over-stated “hysteria”, and I’m basing that on the current number of US Medical school applicants, which has increased dramatically, especially among Young Women candidates in the US … which is a Great thing, IMO; as it about Time to kick THOSE Old Farts out of the Ivory Towers …

H-1B Visas for Physicians from India - THIS is the most “Over-looked” cohort that is massively increasing in great numbers at a 45 degree angle.

THIS is now the LARGEST Demographic Group, that have been arriving ion the US, in vast numbers. Some are from Canada, or Europe or the Middle East, but the vast numbers are from India.

Residency either H1b or J1 meeda chestaru. No hospital/university will sponsor green card until completion of residency/fellowship and a job offer is made. EB1 is not so easy for doctors contrary to popular belief. Only good thing is that most hospitals are not-for-profit and exempt from cap. J1 meeda residency cheste either you have to go back to your country for 2 years after completion of residency or do a 'waiver' job in underserved areas in US on H1b.

Qualification emundi, specization (residency) and subspecialization (Fellowship) are not considered super qualifications. Evaraina EB1 criteria satisfy cheyyalsinde (eb1a extraordinary ability, 1b researcher). It's not so easy these days....need to show that your work made major impact, citations, presentations in national/international meetings etc which most people don't have.  Managers di eb1c anukunta which doesn't apply to docs. O1 visa apply chestaru chala mandi bridging ki....criteria are similar to Eb1 but easy to be approved coz it's visa and not green card.
