buddy......I know your knowledge is limited to wikipedia only.......google properly you will know 2009 lo bjp polled 42%

2013 lo odipodaaniki Yediurappa seperate ga povatam oka reason and incumbancy showed in assembly elections..

2014 lo went in Modi wave but as compared there seat count dipped than 2009.

1-2 seats doesn't matter much.....there could be things like candidate section, muslim consolidation, jds candidate etc

it was few months after sidharamiah swept to power. 2013 results ni lok Sabha ki extrapolate chesthe bjp was leading in 4 lok Sabha seats

with in few months they got back to 17
