Don't expose your TV cover and barcodes. Home depot lo big TVs pack chese box konukko and put it on top of the company packing. 2 big tapes kuda avasaram; for better packing.

India lo 36% tax on your US invoice or Indian Price, which ever is higher. Make sure you alter the final price but be realistic; nenu $600 tv (samsung 55inch, 6 series) koni adi $350 ani fake bill chupincha. I told it's an old model too (5 series ani cheppa). India lo a model price check chesaru; as they couldn't find that model online in India (because I tweaked the model name), it's not worth it ani US invoice meeda tax vesaru. I saved some money there.  

I saw some people who brought TVs in company packing and they paid the same tax as me for a smaller model.

Konchem ekkuva aina India better ani naa yokka idhi.. Most of the features they don't use I mean smart TV. 4k content ledhu.. HD ee gemini maa I guess..

Consider buying a tv in India itself bhayya. I recently tried to send a tv to India. But after doing calculations, I felt it's not worth. In India we are getting lot of good models for better prices.

I would suggest a VU tv. Worth buy.
