Hey Guys,

Planning to send money to India. Please tell me best remittance options for good dollar rates and charging less fee. Heard of xoom and remitly but dont know which is good to opt. Also heard about BOFA wire transfer. Are there any safe limits to transfer? Tell me more if anybody knows much abt more remittance services(about websites or banks). Indian banks to which we transfer are going to charge money for receiving?

Check the exchange rates in compare remit. These remittance services will take few days if you look at the reviews u will not choose any of these services.  BOFA wire transfer charges are high when compared to these remittance services but a safe option..

But it will take few days for your 1st transaction i guess. He will send a small amount for verification and then the actual transfer starts. Don't remember if its done before sending money or after..

Thanks everybody @chinna123, @Whatsapp for your valuable suggestions. I m planning remitly as of now and remaining amount through Ria as @pandit , @nenesuperni suggested and @Spartan,  as per your suggestion, I chatted with remitly and they informed me $2999 will be having promo rate and remaining amount will fall under normal rate even though you are first user. Just FYI  . Thanks.
