Naidu Evades Answer On Working With Cong!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu knows how to face bouncers from media and avoid answers to their embarrassing questions.

Naidu, who went to Bengaluru on Wednesday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Janata Dal (Secular) leader H D Kumaraswamy as Chief Minister of Karnataka, was well-prepared to face the critical question from the media: “Are you ready to work with the Congress party in future?”

Naidu was quick to respond, saying he would strive for strengthening of regional parties against the Bharatiya Janata Party.

“We have all come here to attend the formation of JD (S) government. It is a good sign. In future, all the regional parties would work together to protect ourselves and safeguard our interests,” he said, without saying a word against the Congress.

The TDP chief is very careful in mingling with the Congress leaders, though it is essentially a Congress-dominated government in Karnataka.

“It is heartening to note that the JD (S) is forming the government with the support of the Congress,” he said.

Apparently, he does not treat the Congress party as the major enemy for the TDP now, as it does not have much stakes in Andhra Pradesh.

As such, attending the swearing-in ceremony of JDS-Congress government formation will not have much impact on the TDP prospects in Andhra.

ఏపీలో ఓ భారీ బహిరంగ సభను ఏర్పాటు చేసి, అన్ని పార్టీల నేతలనూ ఆహ్వానించే ఆలోచనలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు ఉన్నారని తెలిపారు. చంద్రబాబు జాతీయ రాజకీయాల్లో చక్రం తిప్పనున్నారని, ప్రాంతీయ పార్టీలన్నీ కలిస్తేనే బీజేపీకి బుద్ధి చెప్పేందుకు వీలవుతుందని అన్నారు.
