i had similar exp , i posted my car in sulekha , one guy sent me email saying he will buy the car and he will send ghe check 

i didnt know the scam at that time , told him i would want him to check the car before he buys and told him to come visit me 

he said he is in florida and this is for his wife who will be moving to my city.

 

I asked to have wife check thr car atleast but he said he trusts me and said he would send the check and he even offered to pay 500 more 

when i told story to friends they told me it was a scam

Biscuit gallu, na friend ki elane ayyi eppudu almost adukku tine stage lo unnadu 1 yr indi inka kolukoledu. That’s a scam beware of those SOB’s.

Edigo pampa adigo pampa ani cheppi delay chesi pending state nundi deposit kagane bank account close cheyyi. Appudu vadiki dimma tiragali 10geyyi mallede anu.. don’t know if this works, but worth a try.. experts please advice on this.

I received cheque also, avi fake- say "not a original cheque" .  sulekha ads lo ee scams start aiyyayyi recently

My sponsor insist to make out payment to you in form of a cheque so I would need your full names as you want it to appear on the cheque and also your contact address where you want the cheque payment to be mailed out to.

I hope you understand all I have explained to you.. I look forward to your response with the information's to mail out the cheque payment as soon as possible.

Apartment will be available from July 18th - Aug 22nd, Rent is 1745 + utilities.

May I know what kind of Visa you are holding ?, If your Visa allows you to stay here legally I can add you in the lease for 1 month.

Apartment is unfurnished and cleaned(comes with A/C, Refrigerator), myself/my wife can help if you need any assistance in buying basic stuff(Safeway, Indian shop and restaurants are next to the premises).

I am holding a work permit visa and would be getting my SSN on arrival OK. I honestly don't have any problem if I am not on the lease OK. I am seriously interested in renting it and I have made arrangements with my financier who would make out a cheque payment to secure the place before my arrival to the US. Kindly send me your full names as you want it to appear on the cheque and also your contact address where you want the cheque to be mailed out to.. I look forward to your response.

Please ask your sponsor to come over and give me the cheque/cash so that I can hold the apartment till you come to US, I cannot provide the bank details without meeting the person.
