MI team was not so good in 2008 & 2009 which are first two seasons although they seemed good on paper...From 2010 they started finding feat and have been very good after went to Playoffs pretty much every time.

2013 nunchi 2018 madhya three titles neggaru....Before that Champions league kuda neggaru.

Infact MI are the only team who have better record over CSK...

Ponting was with KKR first in 2008 played 4 games and didn't even score 40 all together...Later in 2013 picked for MI once Sanath retired then also didn't do much as a batsmen. 2009,2010,2011 Ponting didn't play in IPL.

MI looked strong on paper but sachin missed many of 2008 IPL due to injuries and also they lost close matches middle order and bowling was not so good...From 2010 they started settling down and played consistently..

Yes Rohit's move to MI from DC made their middle order strong added their advantage, rayudu ni kuda teesukunnaru around 2011-12..
