What is worse, the conclave was marred by the loud protests by several NRIs who stormed the venue from different parts of the US.

They raised slogans against the anti-people policies of the Chandrababu Naidu government, his failure to fetch special category status to AP and his inefficient administration.

The number of protesters were more than the turnout at the Mahanadu and the organisers did not understand what to do. Having left with no other option, they asked the gathering to leave the venue.
