Company name change after I-140 approval

i have an approved i140 with company A, I am still with Company A

company A, Company B merged and formed a new company called Company C,

 

should we get the new I140 saying Company C, how will that works, I  have asked my employer he is not giving any reply

so now, i have company A approved I140 copy, should i get the company C approved copy as well

you need to apply for I-140 amendment

amendment ante adey...Company C name mida kottha I-140 isthaadu....they will verify all the acquisition related stuff that company C submits to approve the I-140 amendment

Nothing needed for a merger. My understanding is that new company can continue to file your H-1B extensions under the old name so your I-140 is still valid. 

 

I am on the same boat. My company was acquired by another company in 2014. I still have H-1B extensions with the old company name
