the problem with govt control over everything is obvious, if you look at how USSR worked.

the better idea is to privatize everything, every single thing, but make sure its controlled by workers. This way, one person doesn't benefit from the private corporation (and influence the whole society by preferring his clan/caste people), and there's still competition among different companies.

Govt can nationalize resources, like Land, water, etc, and not allow people to own those things. People can own things they use, like their house, their car, or whatever they use. They cannot profit from renting stuff out.

This will make sure that the economy is not out of balance, and the money does not keep flowing towards the rich.

If you look at the monetary system and lending practises that favour the rich and powerful, you'll want it too.

but asking for govt control is a good start. I'm really surprised, because I thought you were one of those capitalist chest thumpers. But you are still wrong. competition is important. People are too busy to make sure that govt is doing its job every single day/week.

People not being able to profit from renting out stuff is not a straightforward solution to the current problem of how capitalism works.

landlords do provide an important service, in upkeep of the property. Not sure how good of a job govt can do in these areas.

So, I'm not enitrely sure of my suggestion there.

The only thing I'm sure of is, too much influence is being exercised because of the obscene amount of money flowing towards particular sectors. And its not because of the 'merit' in those sectors.

Without any owner. workers can decide among themselves if they should pay their CEO 10000 times of what they earn. That's their kharma.
