Why RTC in losses always?

What can be done, I am seeing one reason is empty buses with 1 passenger it will still travel from one point to other no matter whats the distance just for 1 passenger because they have a schedule. 

Any suggestions to overcome losses?

government should not run any buses...instead it should enforce regulations properly and create infrastructure and handover public transportation to private players..

for example : The government already owns buses and infrastructure through RTC. Its better to handover running and maintenance of the buses to private players through open bidding and let the private player run the buses and make profit. He would identify which is priority and profitable and can plug the loss making routes with alternative prospects.

India is of those last few countries or probably only major country where government runs transport system. handover RTC,railway and air to private players.

Air travel is now being managed by 88% private players and we can see the difference in quality of travel, frequency,competitive fares.

Thats not a good one 

1) All Jobs under risk drivers cleaners workers 

2) If all private no guarantee they will maintain properly

3) The major issue is for rural areas because of loss RTC only 1 trips at nights or something like that, if private they dont run not that one bus .

Private ki iste.. Rates workout avvavu.. they will increase rates , no bus passes, change timings and routes as they are not feasible for profits..

No Gov't want to take risks because of public backslash..

to secure the jobs of drivers and staff, running an organisation and running into crores of losses every year is silly and stupid. Offer the employees VRS and ask them to move. Govt has given enough chances for RTC to make an effort and do a turn around but it never happened. 

The only solution is private. Govt should do the framework properly and enforce regulations properly and hand over to private players.

Already in rural areas, most of transport is with in proivate players and stage carriers...let them make it happen 100% and atleast that will create local employment and opppurtinties and also, improve the transportation efficiency and network in micro scale.

Did u read the first link? It says karmika sankalu will not tolerate ...first India need to tighten this kind of issues even in private you can't fire just like that..so only us lo people are ok with privatization India lo if you are owner you no need to answer any one ..you can fire when you can.

Worst thing happen one night I get down at secunderabd station and took tthat small private busses.he didn't allowed because I have 2 bags and he wants to accomdate more people so he can't on boarded me. No one to track this kind of things in India thays the big problem.

Yes. You need to fire the employees when they do not perform and not just employees but management itself. 

The only reason private companies flourish is because they take dynamic decisions suiting to the business needs and swiftly and aptly and not embroiled in political red tapes. 

Jayalalitha once dismissed 80,000 striking teachers with a stroke of single signature and the result, there has been no strike by teachers in the last 20 years and Tamil Nadu has better quality primary and secondary government schools in the entire country.

RTC management and staff kuda anthe...either they should mend their ways or get out of the way and make way for private players.

every year around 2000 bus lu  free ga TRS pleanary ki vadukunte inka loss raada. aa entire TG lo only Hyd zone is some what profitable ga undedi. daaniki kuda successful ga naakinchesaru. Kutumba paalana ante ilage untadi mari.
