Avakashavadi Posted June 13, 2018 Report Posted June 13, 2018 Thats the strength of the district....proximity to a megacity and scarce rainfall, Horticulture and flouriculture is the need of the hour for this district... farmers need to change the way they do things...they should get adopted to 'less land more output' type of farming.. Avakashavadi Posted June 13, 2018 Report Posted June 13, 2018 most of the villages near shadnagar upto jedcherla, have transformed into new form of farming and they are bit successful now......ananthapur ki similar ga vuntunde situation ie mandals la... traditinal farming nundi horticulture, floriculture, poultry farming, daily perishables etc cultivate chesi they changed lives for themselves as they are closer to a megacity and has good market for such perishables and recently, they have started exporting to gulf countries...spinach,spring onions, ginger, tomatoes, etc are now being airlifted to gulf everyday...
