Please remember, tips are also distributed among bus boys, chefs and others who work in kitchen As usual, this doesn't apply for most Indian/ Chinese/Thai shady restaurants. Also, you don't need to tip in fast food, counter serve ( chiopotle, panera) etc. Quote
