Terrible suggestion. What if the transfer gets denied ?? There is high chance to still be able to work on old receipt if you at least stay in good terms. In this case maybe no big deal because it’s new beginning but doesn’t always an happy ending on H1 transfers. Imagine transfer gets denied and old employer revoke the petition. One should be selling Halal  cart on NY streets

There’s no guarantee transfer will approve immediately (assuming if new employer doesn’t apply premium processing). If he does and it approves then clean. If transfer takes long and status changes from F1 to H1 starting oct 1st, then you can’t go back to OPT again.

From validity of H1 ... you will require only 1 pay statement for transfer but attorneys will ask for more for safer side

you can apply for transfer with effective date of 1 oct, it wont hurt anything. nee luck medha depends if they approve or deny. you may get rfe, but you can defend

yes, they can revoke anytime. if they revoke before oct1, I guess you will be in worst situation and may not able to apply for transfer later on and you may not come under cap exempt too..so dont let your employer to cancel before oct 1st.
