Ground water evaru vadthunnaru hyd lo ... maku full ga krishna water vosthayi nallalo.. assalu bore e vadam... last 5 years nunchi aa bore vadakapothe karab avthadhani weekly oka 10 mins ala vesthuntam.. but 2 days ki okasari 2 hours ala vosthadhi nalla.. more than enough

if i know the numbers correctly  as of now even after drawing water from both sagar and manjeera and with city's reserviors the max water delivery capacity per day of HMWS SB is somewhere close to 550 million gallons a day and assuming that 50% dont get water , HMWS SB should be delivering twice that amount daily

so 15/100 of a TMC needs to be supplied by HMWS SB , translates to somewhere near 55 TMC per yr just for the city

almost 30 TMC feet from Godavari and Krishna, earmarked for Hyderabad.

andulo already Krishna 3rd phase kuda aipoindi and as you may be aware, east hyderabad is now completely dependent on Krishna water from sagar. oka 30% of the population, including their household needs.

Godavari kuda year end ki aiptundi and north hyderabad will be surplus water...additional ga two more reservoirs, one in choutappal and another in keesara each with more than 5 tmc capacity are being build to store water

himayathsagar and osman sagar will be reserve and will not be utilised as it is being used now.

Nah man, things have changed. maa intlo bore ae ledu asalu...

earlier himayathnagar lo vuntunde...ipudu kada kuda tap water..daily 1 hour vastundi, sump nindipotadi...and same is used for household..

sub-urbs chala varaku piped water ayindi...

even old city is now dependent on metro water...

atarvata commercial connections teesukunaru apartments lo...no worries after that

central hyd still uses ground water though...but gradually taggipotundi

@Android_Halwa maak koti lo unna illu ki bore ledu...last 50yrs nunchi..no water issues..

but with the climate change and scanty rainfall..enta varaku we can depend on river water.

yeah i also dont remember  us using bore water like we used to do growing up as a kid, appudu piped water drinking ki

bore water utilities ki vaduthunde specific ga 2 diff tanks katti

illu renew chesi 4 floors chesinaka i think atleast 70% of our needs are met by supplied water.
