What are you smoking dude, 2008-2009 people didn't even have jobs forget filing GCs. And most companies won't file your GC if you are a Jr Engineer and FT, they wait atleast 3-4 years to even start the process.

LOL true...people dint event know how is it like graduating during recession, i have seen worst for few of my friends(some left USA who cant maintain h1b payroll and FT being layoff, literally zero employment on some technologies)    during 2008 and 2009 but some how i got lucky to find projects even that time..i some how survived being a fresher and finding projects with 8 plus exp and compteting with all that real time people..so with all these things how can some one think about GC and H1b at that time..
