u haul windshield crack

guys need help ... reserved u haul with American Express credit card and had accident .....windshield broken.(apartment gates hit on the truck window).

now they are asking me to pay $600  do you know AExpress or Car insurance(gieco) cover it?  

 

anyone had experience iike this ?

Amex covers only liability insurance. So it won’t help you in this case I guess.

nee car insurance lo check if it covers rental cars. Call Geico and ask

Agreed. If the difference is only $100, pay it from pocket as insurance claim can increase future insurance cost.

For our own cars insurances cover winshield too.. But not sure for rental trucks.. adagatam lo tappu eam leedu call ur insurance comany or check the coverage documents of ur insurance..

Amex does NOT cover liability insurance. It only covers the vehicle that you rented. But in this case, its a U-haul not a rental car.  So you can check with amex, but if they cover it, they will cover it full you don't need to pay a dollar out of pocket.
