I140 carry avuthada or re apply

Hi guys,

Nenu company marudam ane thinking , na previous i140 tho future lo 485 apply cheyocha( date current aytey) or re apply cheyala from starting with new company.

New rule prakaram, previous doc use cheyochu , no need to re start the process ane evaro annaru, want to see if thats true.

u need to restart the whole process again. from the new company.

then once u are filing for I140 app with new company, u need to mention that u have a previously approved 140.

appudu kotta 140 with old PD vastadi. whcih is called porting of ur PD.

ori babu..clear ga cheppa kada paina..

once u change employer u have to redo everything from scratch..and then u retain ur PD, while filing for new 140, u mention that u have old PD, and would like to retain the date ani..

nenu same company lo position change aite ne,,malli mottam scratch nunchi chestunnaru..

I think the right question here is can he use his old 140 during extension/transfer after 6 yr period ? Or does he need to apply for new 140 for h1 extentions as well ? either case PD port cheskovachu that is clear.

he can do everything..but once u change employer or even change ur position within the same company where ur duties and day to day work cahnges..u need to do all the steps from the scratch..period.

Neenu Porting cheyakunda naa PD vachinapudu consulting employer tho porting of PD chesthe any problems. Don't know how many companies we change in between
