Nagarjuna He had a successful career and was getting ready to marry A techie, Gogineni Nagarjuna, hailing from Krishna district and working in the U.S. drowned at a waterfall near Charlotte city of North Carolina State on Sunday evening. Mr. Nagarjuna’s family in his native Gottumukkala village of Kanchikacherla mandal received the information from his friends early on Monday. While at the waterfalls near Charlotte, Mr. Nagarjuna slipped into the water and was later found dead, his relatives told media. Mr. Nagarjuna went to the U.S. for higher education in 2008 and settled there after he got a job as a software engineer. He was getting ready for marriage. Campaign for help Mr. Nagarjuna’s friends started a campaign for financial help on Gofundme website with a goal of $12,000. Going by the website, in no time, more than 100 members donated 80% of it. The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) had also endorsed the campaign on its Facebook page. “Nagarjuna went out with friends for a drive and visited the waterfalls two hours from Charlotte where he drowned accidentally. He was and would always be greatly loved. His family is in India and we are working with Indian associations especially TANA for final rites or options to send the body to India (sic),” Satish M, organizer of the campaign wrote. Nandigama MLA T. Soumya visited the family and consoled them, besides promising them government help in bringing back the body. Quote

Still lot of life left in him. Painful to see a life that is lost at such an early stage. Students sitting in the front benches of Engg Colleges/Medical colleges in Krishna/Guntur and making a mock of other castes should be told clearly that Death does not show mercy on anyone and it does not have caste preferences - like YSR's death and NTRs death as well.
