GSW chesthunndhi negative ga record avthundhi history loo ..no one gives a Fcuk about GSW Thats wrong on so many levels.... lebron doesnt really have a "legacy" as none of his teams dominated the league, not even his heat would be considered as dominant after losing to mavs and spurs and for winning only twice after all the hype they created themselves. And I dont say this because he hasnt won many championships but for the fact he played in the east and that provided him one of the easiest routes into the finals and he will be tested more now that he is in the west, which is always the superior side of the NBA historically with stronger teams.... But, he will definitely be remembered as one of the best players to play this sport and I respect him only for going back to cavs and winning a title with them. You are either too young or relatively very new to basketball to call out Kobe's lakers yet not mention kareem's lakers or duncan's spurs.. heck even hakeem's rockets will be remembered more by the non internet generation more than kobe's lakers depiste fewer championships for the way how he dominated the league...... I agree with you on fcuk GSW though Quote

I didnt call losing to spurs or mavs was bad, I said he doesnt really have a legacy because his teams didnt dominate the league like Joardan's bulls, Duncan and Pop's Spurs, Kareem's Lakers, Kobe's Lakers and Hakeem's Rockets... Wade will be fondly remembered more by the Heat faithful (not the bandwagoners) because he was with them even in bad times and he won a championship for them back in 2006 when Lebron was a baby in the league... Yes, east is weak historically, just go check how dominant the west are and how many great players played in the west compared to the eastern conference... Except for Celtics in the 60s and Bulls in the 90s there is no team that dominated the league from the east, not even Iverson's 76ers, Billups' Pistons in the mid 2000s were considered dominant at all. On the other hand west had the greatest teams and great players overall. Quote
chittimallu2 Posted July 5, 2018 Report Posted July 5, 2018 Another example: Karl Malone, definitely to me he is one of the top 3 power forwards to play in the NBA has literally won zero championships.. Despite making to the NBA all star team multiple times and also winning the regular season MVP awards, no one will consider his "legacy" because he really didnt win the biggest prize. He dominated the league at one point in the 90s and to me only bettered by Tim Duncan and not even Kevin Garnett. I also dont buy this lebron reached so many finals so he is a great, that is because east is weak and provided him an easier route to reach the finals. If he were to be in the west, chances are his teams may not even reach the finals because he will have to face one of lakers, spurs, warriors, rockets etc (not today's spurs or lakers but in general) before reaching the finals. Just like how he lost to so many of the west teams in the finals, he would have lost to them even before reaching the finals (like conference semis or conf finals) if he was playing in the west Quote
