durga gudi flyover works are delayed by contractor himself. This project is with NHAI and they monitor it. State govt. only gives 30% funds. CBN tried to change the contractor but Central govt. is not willing to change. Contractor is facing severe cash crunch. So state govt gave some money on behalf central govt. also. 

Also the central govt. is taking lot of time to approve designs.

Flyover works set to be delayed:

The Kanakadurga flyover works are set to be delayed further with additional component works added by the state government. The changes to the original design proposals were yet to get the approval of the high-power committee of the National Highways Authority of India. The state government has sent two changes of scope approvals to the NHAI out of which only one has been approved.
