Private institutions ki they have to show money. it doesn't matter. even talking about opposing/defending this is pointless for a country with just 70% literacy. instituting private higher ed should come last on the list of must-do for any govt. really Nehru asshole must be blamed for this obsession of meritocracy through higher education. Its now deepl ingrained in Indian psyche, and shows how countries like Korea, China etc have raced past India. schools, schools, schools... next hospitals should be the way to go. India is simply borrowing from the worst of all American ideas on higher ed, and health care. Quote
