It's not that we are cheap, there is a reason why most of our people do not tip. Majority of indian restaurant owners control the tips and don't share with their staff, as it goes straight into their pockets and most of us are aware of this fact. I myself encountered several times with the servers where they clearly mentioned that they don't get any share of their tips and owners simple pocket them. Quote
