Don't ask, simply tell her boldly that you are a virgin yourself and won't be comfortable with your wife's past, so she should accept or reject you ( give her the authority to decide ) keeping your priorities in her mind as well . In case of rejection she can make any excuse to her family about not liking you.

Most likely she will back off.

In case you find out later, you might feel very uncomfortable, so better to tell upfront.

If you will be that sensitive to your wife's past do a background check now only - find out a way, its your problem, I don't have an answer to HOW.

In case she lies and truth get revealed in future somehow, your actions might depend on your degree of emotional attachment to her. Practical, may not be politically correct actions in my opinion, will be following

• You love your wife a lot , want to live with her, but you are not able to get over her past, its badly hurting you. -In these case go to Pataya, Bangkok, Thailand, wherever , bang a couple of women. Find your peace. Tell or not tell your wife using common sense about what you did. Live normally after that.
• You just can't stand sight of her at all - say to her and move on. Help her with child support and alimony etc in case she needs. If she remarries, you shouldn't have an issue.
