There are various factors which can cause dreams and each dream will have inner meanings although it may not be true all the time but the only way to get rid of dreams is your thoughts during day or thoughts lying in your sub conscious memory .. try doing breathing exercises before you go to bed have one glass of water that should help to some extent try to mediation if possible or you can listen to meditation OM chant in youtube which will wave off your negative thoughts..
