Whereas wired always records at same quality ( depends on the cameras you purchase) Break-in cops ki call cheyalante, You need glass break detector and Motion detectors. I have honeywell system, some has DSC. See if you can install these yourself. If I were you I'd give it to company whod install it for me (for additional cost) and then monitoring go for most inexpensive one. i.e., Smith Thompson for us in Dallas.
