Android_Halwa Posted July 27, 2018 Report Posted July 27, 2018 Just look at various auto manufacturing facilities link and do a bit of geo mapping and you would see that Chennai is only Indian major city which has sea port close to automobile manufacturing units and no other major manufacturing units are no way closer to the major seaports. Manesar,Sanand,Pimpri etc are hinterlands. Toyota is not on sea coast neither does jaguar, Land Rover,VW facilities are all located hinterland. Quote
