because 1965 year and November month was first mass baptism that happened in India. But it was much before that. 

 

What I am asking kaka when was Hindu's first converted into a christian in India.

 

Note: that is completely different from when christianity was introduced to INdia

Almost close... but it was in 1525. Portugal then Viceroy of India( after Vasco Da Gama)  Francisco De Alameida  used the rife between then two ruling Pearl export clans of South India Paravas and Kayalars(Initially Arab Muslims then later settled in India around 1400 AD)  were fighting each other for Monopoly over the reign for export of pearls( while  Pepper was second condiment that was popular for export).  Paravas  requested for the help for their domination in the trade and Portuguese offered assistance if they convert to christianity. Around 20,000 Hindus converted to Christianity .
