I think he's suffering from clinical depression, papam. I feel bad for him, maybe he tried to get a job but he perhaps wasn't able to learn and upgrade his skillset to suit the job market. It's not easy for everyone, manaki kooda kashtame ga adi cheyadamu. So may be it is what it is. 

Anyway I think depression lo unna vyaktini hurt cheyadam correct kaadu, yes he shoots off the tangent a lot of times, makes some really extreme generalizations and is wrong about a lot of things but then again he's not in a normal state of mind.
