Please dont compare a cheap politician like CBN who survives on the support of 22 media house which support their Yellow caste cause 24 x 7.

Modi never had any caste or regional support. Modi never did caste politics. Modi survived 2002 Post-Godhra crisis when every politician in India was up against him (including his own BJP men)

Maynotbe 100% true. I agree.But Congress was in doldrums. YSR was still having factionist image. Congress was headed by MSR who was the weakest leader. PLus world wide IT boom and unlimited job growth helped dealing with anti-incumbency in 1999. Other than that CBN did not achieve anything at all.

The Kargil Victory played a key role for BJPs success at the center and CBNs alliance with BJP really helped him well. BJP busted in 2004 so TDP too was busted in MP as well as MLA seats in 2004.
