Unlike younger generation who are selfish, older parents usually think about their children and grand children.

May be you’re being sarcastic, but older and younger both have right to vote for whoever they deem as right candidate or candidate of their choice. If its only up to very few to decide who should be in power then its not democracy is it ?

No. I think right to vote should be capped at the average life expectancy in a country.  Just like there's a minimum age for voting - 18.

I'm not sarcastic at all. I'm disgusted by old people who vote for Trump, and act like fcuking lunatics in their support for neo nazi gangs, carry incredible amount of hate in their hearts for non-whites. I really don't care if they roll up and die. They literally enjoy free healthcare, something they consistently have voted against for the society at large (including their children and grandchildren) at their prime working age, and even when they are close to dying age. They are truly despicable human beings (those among them who support Trump).

As for India, sure, young people are probably more Modi supporting in India. If they want Modi, then so be it. India will eventually get off the fascist dictator train, but the same logic applies. Old people past the avg life expectancy of a state, shouldn't be allowed to vote. If its 68 for bihar, then so be it. Let the state improve its life expectancy figures if it wants those old people to be eligible to vote too.

ofcourse, this is not a very well thought out idea. I'm open to be challenged on this.

I don't understand how you can justify voting for Modi 40yrs down the line, when your grandkid asks what you did at this horrible time in Indian history. If you can't justify voting for Modi in humanitarian terms (which is impossible), your grandkid may grow up to hate you.
